Confidence
I believe that everyone is creative, and for the past two decades, I have seen first hand how creativity sets us apart, it’s what gives us confidence, allows us to problem solve and discover our own unique voice. I believe that THIS is the secret ingredient to empowering students with confidence and setting them up for future success.
With 20+ years of experience as a graphic designer and art director, my professional background spans three continents. In Canada and Australia, I worked in publishing, gaining experience in print and digital production before refining my art direction skills within a design agency and later expanding into branding strategy through freelancing.
Most recently, in Paris, France I led a start-up design studio, managing over 300 client communication projects, overseeing end-to-end workflows, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing a team. I also co-created an online slide design training course, producing instructional videos, workbooks, and practical exercises that supported hundreds of learners in strengthening their visual communication and presentation skills.
Throughout my career I have made an effort to adapt to the changing technology, and for the past three years I have taken more concentrated courses in brand new software and skills such as motion design, AI as well, creative thinking and illustration.
All this global experience allows me to prepare students for a digital, interdisciplinary, global environment in constant change.
